These cables replaces Johnson / Evinrude 400 type cables. Features: Drop-in replacement cables are engineered as replacments for original equipment cables. Cables use the existing connection componets. Stainless steel and brass fittings. Standard cables use stainless steel Lubri-Core core wire for smooth operation and long life. 8' minimun bend radius. Black HDPE outer casing for durability and best resistance to UV and chemicals.Applications: OMC / Johnson / Evinrude Pre-1979 with BRP/OMC controls. Replaces 400 Type cables.This cable does NOT come with the connection ends. The purchase of the 400 Type connection kit ( Item TEL-CA27208P.1 ) may be required.
